Radon Testing: Is the only way to know whether your home has high levels of radon, a radioactive gas that causes lung cancer over time. The Sun Nuclear Model 1027 Professional Continuous Radon Monitor is a patented electronic device that uses a diffused-junction photodiode sensor to measure the concentration of radon gas. It is accurate, reliable, and economical. Results are registered within 48 hours of testing.

Radon Mitigation

Radon Mitigation: A radon mitigation system lowers the amount of soil gas entry into a structure. This can be accomplished in several ways, depending on the construction of the building. Buildings with a basement may utilize subslab suction, drain tile suction, sump hole suction or block wall suction.

Crawlspace Encapsulation/Mitigation: Many homes have dirt crawlspaces. These areas are a major contributor to elevated radon levels in the home. We cover these areas with a 6 mil double laminated plastic sheeting which is sealed to all walls and support structures. This method effectively removes all radon from these areas.

Time of Transfer Septic Inspection: Sub-standard septic systems pose an environmental and public health hazard and require repair. If you are selling or purchasing a home in Iowa, you are required to have a system inspected before the deed is transferred. All inspections must be conducted by an inspector that has been certified by the department.

“Thank you for your service. After two others offered no idea how to deal with our radon, you took it on. Luke said it was a challenge but stuck with it. Thank you.”
